Eligibility Criteria for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2/2025 recruitment

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible.

Age Limit:

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (as of 1st July 2026). Relaxable up to 26 years for CPL holders.
• Ground Duty (Tech & Non-Tech): 20 to 26 years (as of 1st July 2026).

Educational Qualifications:

Flying Branch:

• Graduation with a minimum of 50- 60% marks and Physics & Math at 10+2 pass
• BE/B. Tech with 50-60% and Physics & Math at 10+2 pass

Ground Duty (Technical):

4-year engineering degree with a minimum of 50-60% marks and Physics & Math at 10+2 pass

Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

• Admin/Logistics: Graduation with 50-60%
• Accounts: B.Com with 50-60%

Education: PG degree with 50% + Graduation with 60% NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch): ‘C’ certificate (after July 2023) + Graduation with Physics & Math at 10+2 pass

Selection Process

1. Written Exam:
   • AFCAT: 100 Questions, 300 Marks, Duration: 1-2 Hours
   • EKT (For Tech Branch): 50 Questions, 150 Marks, Duration: 30-45 minutes
2. AFSB Interview:
   • Stage I: OIR Test, Picture Perception & Discussion
   • Stage II: Psychology Test, Group Task, Personal Interview
3. CPSS Test:
   For Flying Branch candidates only.
4. Medical Examination:
   Conducted at IAF medical centers

• AFCAT Entry: ₹550 + GST
• NCC Special Entry: No charges
